This place, like many others, isn’t real.  That doesn’t keep people from stopping by. #

    I feel your fingertips
    bringing me back to reality
    as the image fades
    and colors drain.

I’m blinded by the towering images.
that dwarf me and put me into a solar spin.
A jewel encrusted landscape of futuristic dreams,
the destination hovers before me ,
as I unlock my earthly memories
    light years away.

      hmmm…is there an edit button?
silly, but the first period should be a comma and there should not be a comma after “me”

    The reflection caught me
off guard, you’d tried so hard
    to illuminate my thoughts
    with visions of your reality.

    I cried,
    it was a tragedy
    to admit our sentence over
like the end of a rainbow
or our luck, a three leaf clover.

    You remained lost in art
lost, lost, I cried – Lost.
I wanted to stay with you
    but at what cost?
