    Congratulations. I hope you are going to show us the final product (The room that is:). A little advice though. She won’t be a blank slate. You will see that she has her own personality the minute she is born. You may influence her but she will be who she is in spite of your best intentions.

    Thanks, Dottie. The blank slate I’m referring to is certainly not my forthcoming daughter. I was referring to the room itself, white walls and empty of everything. We’re about to build her first learning environment. And starting from scratch.

    This is an empty corner, but the room can become very educational for the child. The alphabets can be on the wall. Numbers can be on the wall too. Wallpaper can show shapes and colors and a rug can also show characters from nursery rhymes. The room can have different colors to teach the child colors.
