		<description>Kia ora Stephen!

My daughter Hannah can show me a thing or two in PhotoShop. I’d ask her, “Who showed you how to do that?” She would reply, almost insolently, “No one - I just found it.”

She would have found it using the &lt;a href=&quot;http://newmiddle-earth.blogspot.com/2009/01/suck-it-and-see.html&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;suck-it-and-see approach&lt;/a&gt;.

Catchya later

<description>&gt; Might this be one of them?

What, photoshop?

Those pencils are unnaturally vivid.

<description>Through the ages we got by
 with a few basic tools,

but fewer that even a child might use,
and for the same purpose:

a scrap of paper -
a bundle of crayons;

once shown how to use them
creativity needs no prompt.

		<description>Colored Pencils

You presume me: green--
light and soft on the spring grass beneath the warming sun,
when in fact I am red,
dripping dark with the dried blood of effort and exertion --
while you, blue,
drink in the ocean&#039;s vast horizon stretched out before us.
Here in this space,
I compliment you and you, me,
even though the color-blind few of us
assume these shades of difference don&#039;t really matter.
They do,
for you remain my favorite hue.
