		<description>Writing Zen haiku
on Euclid is easier
than mathematics.

		<description>Numbers

page source
command lines
I sink into numbers in order see
beyond the mirage of my screen.
I am like a mechanic in here:
tinkering with all these ones and zeroes
so that logic might have a chance
against the emotional instability of words
that have come to define me.
Somehow, it all makes perfect sense
if I can just go deep enough
deep down into the numbers
and see it for what it really is.

Listen to the poem: http://www.box.net/shared/static/msyz6lem00.mp3

<description>I sing to you, oh math, the universal language
Who crosses all known barriers
But one in these few ages
The student who cannot, though all at first may try
to grasp your subtle beauty

I sing to you, oh math, as even I have wavered
Through years avoiding you like sin
Running to the words that could be savored
and seeking my own logic and failing
to grasp your subtle beauty
